Invitation to Members to join the GSBA at its stand at the University of Galway Annual Law Careers Fair

Dear Colleagues,

The University of Galway is holding its Annual Law Careers Fair on 10 October 2023 from 11am – 3pm in the Bailey Allen Hall.

Part of the hall will be allocated to exhibitions/stands for various firms. The other part of the hall will be allocated for CV workshops, Interview workshops and Presentations which will take place throughout the day, in tandem with the exhibitions.

The Galway Solicitors Bar Association will have an exhibition/stand at the Fair on the day and will be contributing to the workshops and presentations.

We would like to invite any of our Members and their firms to join the GSBA at its stand for a portion of the day, to promote their own firm or generally to just give back to students by speaking to them. If any of our Members would like to get involved with the workshops being provided to students on the day, the University would greatly appreciate it.

There is an incredible amount of legal talent coming from the University with a lot of students hoping to remain in Galway for their traineeship and post qualification. This is a great opportunity to promote Galway as a place for our future lawyers.
