New Solicitors Accounts Regulations (S.I. 118 of 2023) – in force from 1 July 2023

Please click here to view a document circulated by the Law Society regarding the new Solicitors Accounts Regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2023.

A campaign aimed at notifying the profession of this change to the financial regulatory regime, with guidance on how best to navigate the new regulations, will be rolled out across all of the Law Society’s communications channels between now and 1 July 2023.

In the meantime, the above linked document will hopefully prove helpful in identifying the key changes and the impact they will have on solicitors, reporting accountants and Law Society investigations.
