CPD – Invitation to conference in University of Galway – Friday 16th and Saturday 17th February 2024

Professor Donncha O’Connell of the University of Galway School of Law is inviting you to a conference, REPLACING THE OFFENCES AGAINST THE STATE ACTS: The Challenge of Jury Trials for Terrorism and Organised Crime.

The event will take place in the Aula Maxima (Lower),University of Galway on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 February 2024. CPD points are available. 

The event is being organised by Donncha O’Connell and Dr Alan Greene of Birmingham Law School to bring together academics and practitioners from Ireland and other jurisdictions to explore the options open to the state when dealing with terrorism and organised crime in a constitutional system that prioritises the right to trial by jury.
