Registration Open: GSBA x Calcutta Run / Walk Galway – 25 May 2025

Please circulate this email to all support staff and trainees in your offices. Registration is required for this event.

Further to our save the date email in March (click here to view), we are delighted to confirm that registration is now open for the inaugural Calcutta Run/Walk Galway! Thank you to those who have already expressed an interest. We are expecting a fantastic turnout!

Event Details:

Date: Sunday 25 May 2025

Location: University of Galway

Length: 5km – suitable for walkers, joggers, runners, kids, buggies etc.

Time: 11am

Entry Fee: e20 per person or e50 per family. Payment can be made directly to the GSBA via cheque or EFT. Email info@gsba.ie for further details.

Event Highlights:

• Following the run, enjoy a BBQ at the College Bar.
• A perfect occasion to socialise, have fun and support a worthy cause.
• A great opportunity to bring your family and kids along or for your office to come together as a team. Consider getting t-shirts with your firm’s logo to enhance team spirit!

Fundraising:

All entry fees will go towards funds raised for the charity partners chosen by the Law Society – Dublin Simon Community and The Hope Foundation.

Legal professionals from the West and surrounding areas including Solicitors, Trainees, Legal Support Staff, Barristers, Courts Service staff and University Law Faculty are all invited. The event is also open to your families and we hope to see all ages turn out on the day.
