Please see below notice from the Mayo Court Office.

As you may be aware Noreen Byrne who manages the Probate Office in Mayo is retiring from tomorrow 9th September, 2022.

Due to the fact of this office  not having an Executive Officer to carry out the Probate functions we are unable to offer this service.

We do not have a date on which the service will resume. This is outside the control of the Office Manager and Marion Chambers Higgins  the Acting County. Registrar /District Probate Registrar for Mayo

Meanwhile you are advised not to  lodge any new applications with this office.

Any Applications that have been lodged in this office (and have not issued) and you require them to be returned, please lodge a Notice of Withdrawal and we will arrange the applications to be returned to you.

We will keep you updated in respect of this situation.
