I’m getting in touch to let you know about an upcoming webinar hosted by the Charities Regulator, aimed at solicitors and legal professionals who work with charities or charitable property. The session will take place on Tuesday, 22 July at 12:30pm.

Below is an invitation to our webinar, which I would greatly appreciate if you could circulate it to your members.

This practical lunchtime session is designed for legal advisors who engage with the Regulator’s Charity Services Unit. It will provide an overview of when authorisation from the Charities Regulator may be required, and guidance on how to navigate the application process.

Why is this important?

Legal professionals advising charities, or others dealing with charitable property need to be aware of the circumstances where regulatory authorisation is needed. This includes proposed sales, leases or transfers of charity property, or winding up a charity.

This webinar will represent one hour General CPD for the purposes of the Law Society of Ireland’s CPD Scheme.
