CPD Cert for Seminar Management & Regulatory Friday 29th January 2016

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that this year’s first CPD event is to be held at the Galway courthouse on the 29th of January 2016 at 2pm.

This event is in conjunction with Keyhouse Professional Services and will comprise of 3 hours management and 1 hour regulatory. The practice management sections of this CPD event are to be led by Director of Keyhouse Professional Services and leading management consultant Will Mallard.

Keyhouse Professional Services have agreed to provide the training in exchange for a €50 donation to Gorta Self-Help Africa – each of the individual sessions is normally over €100 per person. Ronan Scully from Gorta Self-Help Africa will collect payments in advance of the session, details to follow.

The topics to be discussed are as follows:

1. How to improve Cash Flow in the current environment.
a. This topic covers the systematic approach to getting more money in the bank.
2. Growing Your Professional Value in a Competitive Marketplace
a. In the increasingly competitive and commoditised legal services environment there will be opportunities for a select few to make more money.
b. How clients really value your service.
3. How to Manage Your Time When Under Pressure
a. This topic is to include how to balance a competing workload and the best way to effectively manage your time and obligations.
b. The step-by-step process to have optimal results from your efforts.
4. Regulatory Hour to be an update to be given by David Higgins, Connaught Representative on the Council of the Law Society
